We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Oh, no I dont belong to a group, Mr. Kiba just comes with me when I visit my great grandfather. He's not certified yet... i want him to be though!

That's really sweet that you bring him along to visit your great grandpa - and it's great that the facility (? if he's in a hospital or residential care facility) allows you to bring Kiba. It's good that a lot of places now catch on that therapy dogs or family pets brought by visiting relatives can make a huge difference for the patients.
My dog Abby is registered through TDI (Therapy Dogs International) - [link] The test is very similar to the AKC's Canine Good Citizen test, with a couple of additional requirements. So if you train at a place that offers the CGC, taking that will give you the opportunity of seeing what (if anything) you need to work on before getting the TDI.
It's not a "certification", by the way. No national group certifies therapy dogs, they only register them after they pass a test. There are local therapy groups that have their own training programs and different requirements, though.
